A local technician helping a younger and an older customer with their laptop and home Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi help across Adelaide’s north

Wi-Fi that works where you need it.

Poor Wi-Fi can come from the router location, interference, busy channels or the limits of the equipment. We check what is happening before suggesting changes or new hardware.

Practical support

Find the cause before buying more

We check the cause first and talk you through the options before you buy anything.

Coverage & dead zones

We check the rooms and outdoor areas where the signal drops out, then work out what is blocking or weakening it.

Interference & congestion

Nearby networks on the same channel and household interference crowd the air. We check for congestion and tune channel settings.

Router placement & configuration

Router position and settings make a noticeable difference. Moving it or changing a few settings may solve the problem without extra equipment.

Mesh Wi-Fi

Mesh Wi-Fi can suit larger or multi-storey homes, but it is not the first answer to every Wi-Fi problem.

Wired access points & Ethernet backhaul

A wired access point, fed by Ethernet backhaul, delivers fast, stable coverage where a single router can’t reach.

Roaming between rooms

We can configure compatible access points so your phone or laptop moves between them without needing a manual reconnect.

Before buying a range extender

Range extenders are inexpensive, but they can add latency and reduce performance. We only suggest one when it suits the layout. A wired access point or mesh system may work better.

A recommendation that fits

The answer may be a settings change, a better router position, mesh Wi-Fi or a wired access point. We’ll explain why before recommending that you buy anything.

We’ll show you what is causing the problem and explain the options.

Tell us where the Wi-Fi drops out and what devices you use. We’ll start there.
